Q&A
What's the refund policy
Travel Guidebook & 4-Days in Beijing: Since these are digital ebooks with instant access and included links, we’re unable to offer refunds. Thanks so much for your understanding!
Personalized Trip: Because every itinerary is carefully hand-picked and personalized based on your preferences, I hope you understand that I’m unable to offer a full refund.
However, I truly respect your time and investment. If you’re not satisfied with the first draft, I’m happy to make any adjustments based on your feedback. If you are still unhappy after the second draft, I will gladly offer a 50% refund.
I also welcome any suggestion on how I can improve — your feedback is incredibly valuable to me, and I am always striving to make your experience even better.
Do I Need A Visa to Visit China?
Yes, U.S. citizens need a tourist visa (L visa) to enter China, unless you qualify for 10-Day Visa-Free Transit. Refer to China Embassy website for more details: http://us.china-embassy.gov.cn/240-hour Visa-Free Transit Policy.
Can I use Facebook and Google map in China
Many foreign websites and apps are blocked in China. Use a VPN to access services like Google, YouTube, WhatsApp, etc. I suggest Surfshark, NordVPN or ExpressVPN. I strongly suggest to have VPN access before fly to China.
I don't speak Chinese, will I still enjoy china?
In major cities, basic English is common at hotels and airports. But for restaurants, signs, and apps, Chinese is the norm. I suggest to download translator app like Microsoft Translator or Apple Translate. Google translator would not work unless you have VPN.
Is it safe to travel in China?
Yes! China is one of the safest countries for tourists. Violent crime is rare, and solo female travelers often feel very safe. Just follow common sense and local rules.
What’s the best way to get around?
DiDi & Metro are the best ways to move around the city. High-speed trains is a great way to travel between cities. The travel guidebook explains other options in more details. I personally suggest trying riding bikes in China, it's fun & breezy.
What if I get sick or need help?
China has modern hospitals in major cities, and pharmacies are easy to find. However, I strongly recommend bringing your usual medications, just in case.
